GSSA In A Glance

Since 1993, the Sangat has been holding all it’s prayers out of a run-down corner low-cost house in Section 25 Taman Sri Muda (this is the 3rd movement from the previous 2 rented premises) under severe constraints. It is even too small to conduct weddings or large functions and a small portion of poorly maintained soccer field in front of the Gurdwara serves as Langgar Hall.  The Gurdwara Sahib is located in a residential area and has been a source of much complaints from the neighbor hood from parking woes, noise and the Langgar cooking that takes place within the confined space.  The Sangat had to endure summons from local authorities for parking violations and complaints from neighbours about the “noise” all night long coming from loud speakers!  The latest episode was when black paint was splashed onto the Nishan Sahib (Flag Post) which was put up on Vaisakhi Day on 14th Apr 2011.
